The Mission of the Marshall County Museum:

This institution shall promote programs which develop a better appreciation and awareness of our county and state. The Society/Museum will collect artifacts and documents which illustrate this county’s history in terms of natural resources, Indian heritage, exploration, economic and industrial development and cultural achievement.

As Marshall County's storyteller, we make local
history relevant and exciting to audiences of all ages!

In our
Ever-Changing Gallery, we celebrate a young girl’s quinceañera or a local rock musician’s guitar collection. We introduce children to the magic of the railroad; broadcast the videos of veterans, Indiana men and women who served their country despite great sacrifice and remember special times, people and places that make Marshall County special!

We’re a place where you can tell
your stories, too. Discover your genealogy with help from our research librarians. Meet with your group, club, or business associates. Gather with others to learn through special presentations, Brown Bag Lunches, or events such as our Ghost Walk or seasonal celebrations.

Thanks to your generous giving, we can continue to pay for school programs, publications, exhibits, workshops and other programs. Your gifts help fund the ongoing mission-driven endeavors that are most important to all of us and to the future of our great county. Explore the many opportunities to leave a lasting legacy for future generations through giving of
your time, talents and funds.
