Main Gallery                                                                                                                                                                                                                     Main Floor

The main floor features changing exhibits that utilize the museum's large artifact collection. Exhibit topics may range from boys' basketball teams to the history of our county jails, early county businesses; even to such recent articles such as Star Wars figures or Barbie dolls.  The gift shop is also on the main floor.

We also have a hands-on-room for children (and adults) where they can actually touch a mastodon tusk or dig for points and arrowheads. They can build a log cabin, locate points of interest in Marshall County, or sit in an early 1900's barber chair.

Upper Level

On the upper level, the lives of Marshall County residents are reflected in room settings  Upper Level Hallway
displayed in offices that were used by lawyers, doctors, H. J. Heinz, and many other businesses.

A family parlor, kitchen, and bedroom depicts life in the late 1800's. You might even hear the sounds from a Thomas Edison Gramophone in the entertainment room. Visit the General Store and see what treasures were brought to Marshall County by way of a replica Conestoga wagon.  Along with many other period rooms on the second floor, there are changing exhibits in the hallway.
